I put myself through college and I bought the Z while in college. If all you were doing was paying to maintain it, I dont know what crazy maintenance costs there are other than the 120K. The rest can be had used and for cheap if you have a good network to tap into, and you found that obviously (Z forums). You either got bored of it, or you were paying other people to do all the work. Instead of auto-Xing on the weekends, you should be studying or working to get some funds to own a real car instead of a chickmobile
